Skillnad has been working digitally with team development for many years. We have worked with thousands of teams in different industries and we know exactly what it takes to create great teams.
One of the most important things is that you agree on how you will work together and what your common goals are. Sometimes you need a little help to put your finger on what those goals are. That's why there's the Team Quality Survey (TQS).
The TQS is self-instructional, easy to answer and simple to use. There are no right or wrong answers. It has only one purpose: to sharpen your team.
Skillnad has worked systematically with digital team building:
The factors identified by the TQS have been shown to influence a team's ability to function effectively.
Using mapping as a starting point for dialogue on everyday changes has been a success factor for team development.
The purpose of the Team quality survey is to provide relevant suggestions on how to increase joint capability.
TQS is based on a practically oriented Team quality model. It assumes that teams that agree on and take personal responsibility for goals, structures, open interplay, continuous development and engagement work better together. They work more efficiently, feel better and deliver higher quality.
The team quality survey has a team-based approach - it is aimed at teams working together towards a common goal or outcome.
The focus of TQS is to identify causes rather than effects; for example, team conflicts are not addressed in the mapping. However, a number of factors that may indirectly cause conflict, such as unclear goals, are covered.
The questions cover five areas. Everyone in the team rates 35 different statements about the team. These are only factors that the team can influence and that affect the team's performance and capabilities.
The five areas are:
The result is a picture of the team's strengths and areas for development.
